For most of my life, the things I’ve done to stay sane have remained consistent – reading, writing and dancing. They continue to help me, though I (re)turned to being an extrovert recently (oh the horror), so I don’t spend as much time in my head as I used to. Frankly, younger-me would have scoffed at just how much present-me enjoys herself without her. But she didn’t have a well-regulated nervous system as they say.
My favorite book is Mating by Norman Rush, which mostly just means I do not hate nor shy away from convoluted sentences if they make sense, and I like tough reading with a good payoff. Even more so if it’s an obscure less-than well known [but extremely well-written] book that makes me appear smart.
You now already know more than what most people that know me do. Now for the basics – I work a regular 9 to 5 in Atlanta and my most popular Netflix tags are Irreverent, Sentimental and Intimate. My mother would hate that a “former top student” calls herself a regular 9 to 5-er but if you paid attention you’d realize I never did call myself that. Or that other thing.

- A long time ago I used to say Winter – Romance describes me best, it’s not true anymore but I haven’t gotten around to writing something like that again.
I dance here.
